Jorge Guajardo is a senior director at McLarty Associates, where he provides strategic counsel and expertise on Latin America and China. A native of Monterrey, Mexico, he served as Mexican ambassador to China from 2007 to 2013. Previously, he served as Mexico’s consul general in Austin, Texas, and as director of communications for the governor of Nuevo Leon. He has advised several presidential and state-level campaigns in Mexico and maintains close working relationships with key figures in Mexican government, business, and civil society.
