Hon. Jorge Augusto Sapag, a member of the Neuquino People's Movement (MPN) party, has been governor of the Province of Neuquén since 2007 – with a term until 2011. He was reelected as governor until in 2011 until 2015. Previously, Governor Sapag was elected vice governor of Neuquén Province in 1999, under Governor Jorge Sobisch. Also under Governor Sobisch, Sapag served as minister of government, education, and justice from 1991 to 1995. He completed his law studies at the Pontifical Catholic University of Argentina, where he also served as treasurer of the Law Student Center.

Hon. Jorge Augusto Sapag, miembro del Partido del Movimiento del Pueblo Neuquino, ha sido gobernador de la Provincia de Neuquén desde 2007. Fue relegido como gobernador en 2011 hasta 2015. Anteriormente, el Gobernador Sapag fue elegido vice gobernador de la Provincia de Neuquén en 1999, a la orden del Gobernador Jorge Sobisch. Durante este periodo, fungió como ministro del gobierno de educación y justicia desde 1991 hasta 1995. Se realizó sus estudios en Derecho en la Pontifica Universidad Católica de Argentina, donde también mantuvo el cargo de Tesorero de la Sociedad Estudiantil de Leyes.
