José Antonio Ríos
José Antonio Ríos has guided CELISTICS as chairman and CEO since November 2012. Ríos leads CELISTICS' operations in 16 countries across Latin America, with more than 2,600 employees and more than 400 million units shipped. Previously, he was international president at Global Crossing (later acquired by Level 3), where he led operations in more than 20 countries throughout Europe, Latin America, and Asia. Ríos also served as president and CEO of Telefónica Media, where he played a major role in its key Latin American acquisitions. He was also the founding president and CEO of Galaxy Latin America (GLA), which launched DIRECTV Latin America in 27 countries. Prior to joining DIRECTV, he served as the COO and corporate vice president of the Cisneros Group of Companies, where he led the globalization of the Cisneros Group. Ríos holds a degree in industrial engineering from Andrés Bello Catholic University in Venezuela.

Era presidente internacional de Global Crossing (posteriormente adquirida por el Level 3), donde dirigió las operaciones en más de 20 países de Europa, Latinoamérica y Asia. Ríos se desempeñó como presidente y director ejecutivo de Telefónica Media. También era el presidente fundador y director ejecutivo de Galaxy Latin America (GLA), que lanzó DIRECTV Latin America en 27 países. Antes de incorporarse a DIRECTV, Ríos era COO y vicepresidente corporativo de la Cisneros Group of Companies, donde dirigió la globalización del Cisneros Group. Es licenciado en ingeniería industrial por la Universidad Católica Andrés Bello en Venezuela.
