José Manuel Rodríguez
José Manuel Rodriguez is an anchor and senior correspondent for CNN en Español in Miami, where he does in-depth reporting. Throughout his career, he has covered significant events including the political crisis in Paraguay, elections in Chile, Uruguay, Argentina, and the United States. He is part of the network’s breaking news teams covering relevant events such as the terrorist attacks in Paris, the capture of El Chapo, and the election of Pope Francis. He joined the network in 2011 and produced Café CNN in Buenos Aires. Prior to joining CNN en Español, he was an associate producer for Telemundo. In 2001, he was editor of "Qué Pasa", a newspaper in North Carolina, and in 2007, he joined WSBS Mega TV. Rodriguez has been recognized with the GLAAD Awards in 2018 and has three national Emmy Award nominations.
