Juan Cruz Díaz
Juan Cruz Díaz is special advisor to the president and CEO at the Americas Society/Council of the Americas (AS/COA). He is managing director at Cefeidas Group. He is also co-director of the Corporate Governance Program at the Universidad de San Andrés. Before founding Cefeidas Group, he was director of public policy programs at AS/COA. He has worked as a consultant for the Organization of American States (OAS) and regularly consults for the International Finance Corporation and the World Bank. Díaz is a lawyer who holds a master’s degree from The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University, where he specialized in international business and Latin American politics. He has participated in training programs at Harvard University, the University of Texas in Austin, the United Nations Institute for Training and Research, and the Université Laval, Quebec. Díaz has been a fellow of the United Nations Foundation, the Government of Quebec, and the U.S. Department of State. He is currently a member of the Consultative Council at the Center for the Implementation of Public Policies Promoting Equity and Growth (CIPPEC) and an associate member of the Inter-American Dialogue (IDB).
