Juan N. Cento
Juan N. Cento has strategic oversight for FedEx Express Latin America and the Caribbean, which consists of approximately 26,000 employees in more than 50 countries and territories. He began his career with FedEx in 1989, when the company merged with the Flying Tigers Line. Following the merger, Mr. Cento became managing director of FedEx South & Central America, then vice president of Mexico & Central America. In his 30 years with the company, he has expanded the FedEx presence and helped it become a pillar of economic growth in the region. Mr. Cento was on the Board of the Council of the Americas and is currently a member of the International Advisory Board of Baptist Health System, CLADEC (Conference of Latin American and Caribbean Express Companies), and the University of Miami’s LACI Advisory Board. He is also a member of the board of directors for the global risk management provider, Assurant, Inc. Mr. Cento has been active on the boards of several non-profits and was the founding chairman of the International Kids Fund.
