Karim Mitre is the lead of the Administration and Human Management & Development division of the Banco de Crédito del Perú. He holds a BSc. (Econ.) in international relations and a Master's degree with a specialization in Latin American politics and development from the London School of Economics in England. He joined Banco de Crédito in July 1997, assuming responsibilities in the Capital Markets Division. Since 2005, he has worked in the field of human development as the Planning and Development Area Manager for HR at BCP.

Before, he held the position of manager of the Administration and Human Management and Development Division of Pacífico Seguros until December 2010. Then, until February 2016, he held the position of central manager of Strategic Resources, with responsibility for the areas of IT, Operations, Processes, Administration and HR, as well as the Shared Services Center at Prima AFP. In April 2022, he moved back to BCP as the manager of the Administration and Human Management and Development Division, which includes responsibility for the corporate HR role at Credicorp.
