Lally Graham Weymouth is senior associate editor of The Washington Post, where she has been conducting interviews with world leaders since 1986. Her recent exclusive interviews include Egypt’s minister of defense, Abdel Fatah al-Sissi; Israeli’s prime minister, Netanyahu; Singapore’s prime minister, Lee Hsien Loong; Turkey’s prime minister, Erdogan; Greece’s prime minister, Samaras; Mexico’s president, Peña Nieto; Hungary’s prime minister, Viktor Orban; Myanmar’s president, Thein Sein; and Iran’s then-president, Ahmadinejad in Tehran. Ms. Weymouth currently serves as a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and the Economic Club of New York. Formerly, Ms. Weymouth was Newsweek’s special diplomatic correspondent, and in 1976 she authored America in 1876: The Way We Were. Ms. Weymouth holds a degree from Radcliffe College.
