Laura Pastrana is co-Founder and COO of Qvit.com, the first online boutique with a virtual fitting room. As an online shopper herself, she truly appreciates accuracy convenience and novelty. Having this in mind Laura and her partners built Qvit, a unique and outstanding online experience that allows their clients to virtually try on different garments and sizes on a free avatar, exact body replica of a client’s body, in a matter of seconds, cloning the garments look and feel. Working together with her two best friends, Mayra and Lorena Roa, they are committed to breach the gap between the physical world and the online world. This led them to develop a phone app that allows customers to scan a garment’s barcode in store and immediately try-on that garment on their own avatar. Laura started her career in Lehman Brothers and Barclays Capital. She holds a BSA and a concentration in finance and entrepreneurship from Babson College. She currently lives between New York and Bogotá.
