Lorenzo Gonzalez Bosco
Lorenzo Gonzalez Bosco joined Temasek in April 2008 as managing director. Based in Mexico City, he is the head for investment origination and advisory activities in México and the Andean region. Prior to joining Temasek, Lorenzo was with Barclays Capital where he was the chairman and CEO of Barclays Mexico. Lorenzo had direct responsibility for all investment banking activities. He began his career with Citibank in 1985 through the Executive Training Program and subsequently joined Bank of America in 1987 where he opened its banking subsidiary in Mexico. Lorenzo was with Bank of America for 14 years and was the head of its corporate and investment banking business. Thereafter, he was a business partner and co-investor at Advent International, the Boston-based private equity fund, before joining Barclays in 2002. Lorenzo earned a bachelor’s in business administration from Universidad Iberoamericana. He holds an MBA from Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de Mexico (ITAM). Lorenzo also graduated from the Program for Management Development at Harvard Business School.
Lorenzo Gonzalez Bosco se integró a Temasek en abril de 2008 como director general con base en la Ciudad de México. Dirige las actividades de inversión de Temasek en México y la región Andina. Antes de integrase a Temasek, Gonzalez Bosco fue Presidente y Director General de Barclays Capital México, donde tuvo bajo su cargo directo la responsabilidad de todas las actividades de inversión bancaria. Gonzalez Bosco estuvo en Bank of America durante 14 años donde dirigió la división de Banca Corporativa e Inversión. Posteriormente, fue socio de negocios y co-inversionista de Advent International, el fondo de capital privado de Boston, antes de unirse a Barclays en 2002. Gonzalez Bosco tiene un MBA del Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM) y es graduado del Programa de Desarrollo Administrativo de la Escuela de Negocios de Harvard Business School.
