Luis Felipe Carrillo
Luis Felipe Carrillo is the president for GE's Central Area of Latin America (CALA) region. He is responsible for the growth and development of the company in Peru, Ecuador, Colombia, Venezuela, Chile, Central America, and the Caribbean. Carrillo's focus is to develop the region's infrastructure in power generation, healthcare, aviation, and renewable energy. To that effect, he is leading efforts to localize more capabilities, integrate recent acquisitions, and penetrate underserved markets. Prior to this position, Carrillo was the president and CEO for GE Andean and Caribbean regions. He joined GE in 2000 as a member of the company's technical sales leadership program for the industrial systems business in the US and Peru. Carrillo later took commercial and general management roles throughout Latin America in GE Consumer & Industrial and GE Energy Services. Prior to GE, he worked at Luz del Sur, an electrical utility serving Lima. Carrillo has a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Simon Bolivar University in Caracas and a master’s degree in business administration from the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú and Maastricht School of Management in The Netherlands.
