Maria Augusta Bernardini is the executive medical director at AstraZeneca do Brasil. She has extensive experience in people management, insights gathering, strategic medical management, and license to operate medical activities (pharmacovigilance, scientific information, customer services, and medical compliance). Prior to joining AstraZeneca, she was Medical Lead of Global Established Products and Bioequivalence at Pfizer and Medical Group Manager at Aché Laboratórios. She has a medical degree from the University of Sao Paulo, a graduate degree from the Federal University of Sao Paulo, an MBA from Fundação Instituto de Administração (FIA) and a Master of Science in Pharmaceutical Medicine from Hibernia College.
