Maria Eduarda “Duda” Kertész
Maria Eduarda “Duda” Kertész is president of U.S. HealthE, where she manages some of Johnson & Johnson’s most iconic brands such as Johnson's Baby®, Listerine®, Band-Aid® Brand, Neosporin®, and Healthy Essentials® franchises. Prior to her current role, she led the J&J Consumer Business in Brazil for five years, leading the second largest operating unit of J&J globally. Under Kertész’s leadership, Johnson & Johnson Consumer in Brazil grew by 80 percent from 2010 to 2016. She has been recognized as one of the top 10 female business leaders in Brazil and more recently by HBA (Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association) as a 2017 Luminary for serving as a role model in J&J, actively mentoring and sponsoring others, helping advance other women’s careers, and exhibiting dedication to the healthcare industry. Kertész is a global co-leader for Women’s Leadership Initiative for J&J Consumer and was the founder of the Latin America WLI chapter. She is also a member of the J&J Diversity and Inclusion North America Advisory Board. Kertész has served as a board member of the American Chamber of Commerce in Brazil and was a founder member of the “Mulheres do Brasil” group in her country. Born and raised in Brazil, she earned a B.S. degree in business administration from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV) in São Paulo and a Certificate of Special Studies in administration and management from Harvard Extension School.
