María Eugenia Vidal
National Deputy Pre-Candidate for the City of Buenos Aires
María Eugenia Vidal was the first female governor of Buenos Aires province, a position she held from October 2015 to December 2019. Previously, she held various roles in the Buenos Aires city government, including as deputy mayor during then-Mayor Mauricio Macri’s second term and as minister of social development from 2008 to 2011. Vidal held two consecutive terms as a city legislator in Buenos Aires, where she served as director of the Committee on Women, Children, Adolescents, and Youth. She also served as the director of social development at the Grupo Sophia Foundation from 2000 to 2007. Vidal holds a bachelor’s in political science from the Universidad Católica Argentina.
