Mariana Seixas is a director, senior counsel and leads negotiations for investments, strategic transactions, and other fund activities for the Latin America Funds and the SB Opportunity Fund. She brings more than 10 years of legal experience leading corporate transactions across Latin America, with an emphasis in Brazil. Prior to joining SoftBank, she was a senior associate at White & Case LLP, where she worked at the firm’s Miami and São Paulo offices. Mariana has a bachelor's from the University of Virginia and a J.. from the University of Virginia School of Law, where she was executive editor of the Virginia Law Review. She has spoken at several International Bar Association conferences on matters relating to venture capital, mergers and acquisitions, and sustainability. She is a lecturer on diversity and inclusion and the empowerment of women.
