Matheus Villares is the managing director for Temasek Brazil, heading Temasek’s Brazilian office since September 2008. He is a board member of Hidrovias do Brasil, Klabin, and Burger King Brazil. Prior to joining Temasek, Villares was head of M&A for Citigroup Capital Markets in Brazil and for M&A in Latin America at Goldman Sachs & Co before that. He holds a bachelor's in production engineering from the University of São Paulo and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
