Miguel Ángel Gutiérrez is president of YPF Argentina and a partner of Global Executive Private Investments at The Rohatyn Group, LLC. He was previously the fund managing partner for global special situations and private equity and head of portfolio management of special opportunities at The Rohatyn Group, LLC. Gutiérrez is responsible for portfolio management and development of various special situations and private equity strategies on a global basis. During his 21-year career at J.P. Morgan, he held positions as the head of emerging markets, sales trading, and research worldwide; head of global emerging markets proprietary trading; and co-head of the Latin American region, head of local markets for Latin America, Central Europe, and emerging Asia. In September 2000, Gutiérrez was appointed co-head of global emerging markets by JP Morgan Chase & Co. Earlier in his career, he held various senior positions, including head of European interest rate management and treasury manager in both Madrid and Buenos Aires. Gutiérrez serves as a director of Telefonica of Argentina Inc., Telefonica International (TISA), and Abertis Infraestructuras, S.A. Previously, he served as the chairman of the Telefónica Group in Argentina and chairman of Grupo Concesionario del Oeste S.A. Gutiérrez holds an advanced management program degree from Universidad Austral in Argentina (IAE).
