Miguel Uccelli was appointed CEO and country head of Peru at Scotiabank Perú. He also currently serves as vice chairman of the Board of CrediScotia Financiera, Profuturo AFP, Scotia Perú Holdings, and other Scotiabank subsidiaries in Peru. Uccelli joined Scotiabank in 2014 as senior vice president and head of Retail Banking. In 2015, Uccelli was appointed as CEO and country head of Scotiabank Perú. In his current role he oversees all of Peru’s retail, small business and commercial banking operations. Prior to joining Scotiabank, Uccelli spent more than nine years in one of the leading banks in Peru, where he held key roles in various departments and companies. Previously, Uccelli was vice president of Global Investment Banking at two global banks in New York from 1998 to 2004. He received his MBA from the Wharton School in 1998, graduated from the General Management Program at Harvard Business School, and holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and accounting from Universidad del Pacifico.
