Oliver González Barrales is the general director of the Specialized Center for Technological Response of the Federal Police of Mexico. Previously, he served as director of Information Technology Infrastructure and Communications at the National Center of Information at the Executive Secretariat of the National Public Security System from 2010 to 2013. González was director of Analysis and Evaluation of Technology Projects, deputy director of Telecommunications Projects, and head of the department of Monitoring and Evaluation of the Telecommunications Operations at the Secretariat of Public Security. He has been a panelist at various events and lectures in Mexico, Colombia, Paraguay, France, and the United States. He holds a bachelor’s degree in computer systems engineering from the Technological Institute of Guerrero and a master’s degree in iformation technology and management from the Autonomous Technological Institute of Mexico (ITAM).
