Patricia Jara Males is a specialist in the Social Protection and Health Division of the IDB. After 4 years at the bank's headquarters in Washington D.C., she currently works as a sector specialist in the IDB office in Santiago, from where she provides technical assistance to various governments in the design and implementation of social inclusion policies. She collaborates with the Mesoamerican Regional Health Initiative and with the Panorama of Aging and Dependency Care, both coordinated by the IDB.
