With more than 30 years of professional experience in the technology industry across several leading companies, including leadership positions at a number of Fortune 500 tech companies, Paula Bellizia is the new Vice President of AWS for Latin America. Prior to join AWS, Paula was President at Ebanx, a unicorn in the payments sector and an AWS customer. Paula holds a degree in Information Technology, with a postgraduate degree in Marketing from the Escola Superior de Propaganda e Marketing (ESPM), an MBA in Business Administration, Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services from FIA-USP, in Brazil, and an Advanced Management Program from INSEAD/Fundação Dom Cabral. Committed to never stopping learning, she recently participated in the Scaling Entrepreneurship Week with Endeavor at Harvard Business School. She has dedicated her skills to social causes. For the past 4 years, she has been a member of the advisory board of Gerando Falcões, a social development network that works to break the cycle of poverty in Brazil through innovation and technology. Additionally, she has supported the iamtheCODE cause, empowering and educating women and girls, and promoting the advancement of STEAMD education (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics, and Design). Paula has received several awards, including the Executive of the Year award from Valor Econômico in 2017 and 2018. She was also recognized as one of the 50 most influential Hispanic leaders by HITEC (Hispanic Technology Executive Council) in 2018. Additionally, the Editorial Board of Bloomberg Línea has included her as one of the 50 Women of Impact (50 Mujeres de Impacto) who are inspiring and transforming business in Latin America in 2024.
