Paula Santilli
Paula Santilli, as the Chief Executive Officer of PepsiCo Latin America and a member of PepsiCo’s Executive Committee since May 2019, has led the business in the region to earn a staggering $10 billion dollars in annual net revenue in 2023. Her leadership has also been instrumental in supporting over 77,000 direct jobs across 34 markets, a testament to her strategic vision and management skills.
Previously, she served as the President of PepsiCo Mexico Foods (PMF), the second largest market for PepsiCo globally and of the PepsiCo Mexico Foundation. Before her roles in Mexico, she held leadership roles in the beverages and food businesses in the Southern Cone.
Paula is committed to generating inclusive growth in Latin America and contributing to the well-being of the communities in which PepsiCo operates. She also strongly champions diversity and inclusion, increasing women’s representation in Mexico.
She co-authors three books on women's empowerment and the importance of closing the gender gap in leadership positions: El Poder de Poder. Mujeres Construyendo Latinoamérica (2020), Empowering You, Empowering Her (2021), and A Woman’s Guide to Power, Presence, and Protection (2022). She also contributed to the book Empresarias Chidas (2023), which compiles inspiring stories about significant women in business.
In 2020, she received the “Exceptional Women of Excellence” award granted by the Women Economic Forum. This award recognizes the achievements and leadership of outstanding women in different areas of human endeavor and celebrates diversity and equity. Paula Santilli's contributions have been widely recognized and celebrated. Her appointment to the Board of Directors of The Home Depot in 2022, inclusion in Forbes' Global 100 Most Powerful Women list, and various features in Fortune magazine, most recently in 2023, all underscore the impact of her leadership and the respect she commands in the business world.
Paula Santilli was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She graduated from Universidad del Salvador in Argentina and studied at Miami University of Ohio.
