Philip I. Kent is the chairman and chief executive officer of Turner Broadcasting System, Inc. where he is responsible for corporate oversight of domestic and international entertainment networks and businesses. Previously, Mr. Kent served as the president and chief operating officer of CNN America Inc. and Cable News Network LP LLP and as president of Turner Broadcasting System International where he led a regionalization strategy that introduced local-language versions of CNN and the Turner entertainment networks around the globe. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Lehigh University.
