Rear Admiral Alfonso Fabián González Belmonte
Rear Admiral Alfonso Fabián González Belmonte is a graduate of the Heroic Naval School, where he earned a degree in Naval Science and Engineering in 1995. He achieved the rank of Rear Admiral in November 2023.
He has specialized in Maritime Meteorology and Naval Command and holds a master’s degree in Naval Administration (General Staff Diploma). Additionally, he has completed diploma programs in Teaching Education for Youth and Adults and Teaching Competencies.
Throughout his career in the Mexican Navy, he has served on various naval vessels and held key positions, including Head of Training and Contingency Planning at the General Staff of the Navy, Naval Aide in the Eighth Naval Region, Head of Services at the High Command Headquarters, and Deputy Naval Attaché in Washington, D.C. In the academic field, he was Director of the Naval Machinery School.
He has been awarded the Perseverance Decoration for over 35 years of active service. Since May 2023, he has served as the General Coordinator for Investment Promotion at the Interoceanic Corridor of the Isthmus of Tehuantepec (CIIT).
El Contralmirante Alfonso Fabián González Belmonte es egresado de la Heroica Escuela Naval, donde obtuvo el título de Ingeniero en Ciencias Navales en 1995. Alcanzó el grado de Contralmirante en noviembre de 2023.
Se ha especializado en Meteorología Marítima y Mando Naval, y cuenta con una maestría en Administración Naval (Diplomado de Estado Mayor). Además, ha cursado diplomados en Formación Docente en Educación para Jóvenes y Adultos y en Competencias Docentes.
Durante su trayectoria en la Secretaría de Marina, ha servido en diversos buques de la Armada de México y ha ocupado cargos clave, incluyendo Jefe de Planes de Adiestramiento y Contingencia en el Estado Mayor General de la Armada, Ayudante Naval en la Octava Región Naval, Jefe de Servicios del Cuartel General del Alto Mando y Agregado Naval Adjunto en Washington, D.C. En el ámbito académico, fue Director de la Escuela de Maquinaria Naval.
Ha sido condecorado con la Medalla de Perseverancia por más de 35 años de servicio activo. Desde mayo de 2023, se desempeña como Coordinador General de Promoción de Inversiones del Corredor Interoceánico del Istmo de Tehuantepec (CIIT).
