
Renata Vasconcellos
Renata B. Vasconcellos is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in international trade and public policy. She is the head of LATAM government affairs at RELX. She served as executive director at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, Americas, where she led U.S.-Brazil and U.S.-Cuba advocacy plans, represented the LATAM team on digital policy issues, and advised on Brazil’s public policy issues related to defense, energy, technology and trade. Prior to this, she held senior roles at the Chamber, including senior director and director, at the Chamber affiliated U.S.-Brazil Business Council. Renata also practiced as an International Trade and Customs Attorney at Porter, Wright, Morris & Arthur, counseling clients on export control, sanctions, and trade barriers. She holds an LL.M. from American University and a Bachelor of Laws from Fluminense Federal University. Renata is a Trade Advisor to the Board at the Brazil Institute of Foreign Trade and Investment and a founding member of the Brazilian Scholars for International Trade. She is fluent in English and Portuguese and is licensed to practice law in NY, DC, and Brazil
