Samuel Villegas is the president of Goldman Sachs Mexico Casa de Bolsa, overseeing Trading, Sales and Federation activities locally. Samuel serves on the Latin America Operating Committee and on the Board of Directors of Goldman Sachs Mexico Casa de Bolsa. Previously, Samuel was responsible for the Emerging Markets Local Sales Group covering institutional clients in Chile, Colombia, Peru, Mexico and Central America. Prior to that, he was in Credit Risk Management & Advisory (CRMA), where he ultimately became head of the Latin America CRMA Group. Prior to joining the firm, Samuel worked at Banco Mexicano as a corporate finance associate and at InverMexico Casa de Bolsa as a fixed income trader. He holds a BA in Business from the Instituto Tecnologico Autonomo de Mexico (ITAM) and an MBA from the Stern School of Business at New York University (NYU).
