Originally from Orizaba, Veracruz, Sergio de la Maza is electrical mechanical engineer graduated from Universidad Veracruzana, and he is currently executive vice president and managing director of TenarisTamsa, leader in the steel pipes manufacture and services supply, mainly for the energy industry. 

He first joined TenarisTamsa in 1980. From 1983 to 1988, Mr. de la Maza worked in several positions within the company. He then became manager of TenarisTamsa’s pipe mill number 2 and later served as manufacturing manager and quality director of TenarisTamsa. Subsequently, he was named manufacturing director of TenarisSiderca in Argentina. In 2001, he returned to Mexico as commercial director. He assumed his current position in 2003.
