Sergio Díaz-Granados
Sergio Díaz-Granados is the Executive President of CAF - Development Bank of Latin America and the Caribbean. He is a lawyer from the Externado University of Colombia with postgraduate studies in Public Management for social development from INAP (Spain) and higher studies in Constitutional Law from the University of Salamanca (Spain). His extensive career includes roles such as Minister of Commerce, Industry, and Tourism of Colombia, Vice Minister of Business Development, and President of the Boards of Directors of Bancoldex and ProColombia. He also served as Executive Director for Colombia and Peru at the IDB Group from 2015 to 2021.
Sergio Díaz-Granados es el Presidente Ejecutivo de CAF - Banco de Desarrollo de América Latina y el Caribe. Es abogado de la Universidad Externado de Colombia con estudios de posgrado en Gerencia Pública para el desarrollo social en el INAP (España) y estudios superiores en Derecho Constitucional de la Universidad de Salamanca (España). Su extensa carrera incluye roles como Ministro de Comercio, Industria y Turismo de Colombia, Viceministro de Desarrollo Empresarial y Presidente de las Juntas Directivas de Bancoldex y ProColombia. También se desempeñó como Director Ejecutivo para Colombia y Perú en el Grupo BID desde 2015 hasta 2021.
