Sergio Waisser is a managing partner at McKinsey & Company Mexico, where he leads the Financial Institutions Group practice and is a core member of the leadership group in Latin America. With over twenty years of experience at the firm, Sergio has worked on multiple engagements in Mexico, Europe, US and Latin America, becoming an influential voice in the business ecosystem through an extensive network. He has co-authored more than 20 McKinsey Publications on subjects like banking, payments, strategic marketing, Mexican economic development and Leadership. Prior to McKinsey, Sergio co-founded a desktop-publishing company and he was a stockbroker certified by the National Bank and Commodities Commission, Instituto del Mercado de Valores (IMERVAL). His areas of expertise include-digital banking and insurance, growth, strategy, and enterprise transformations. He holds a degree in Computer Engineering from the Instituto Tecnologico de Monterrey and an MBA from the Darden Graduate School of Business Administration, University of Virginia.
