Vladimir Werning
Vladimir Werning is executive director and head of Latin America research at J.P. Morgan Securities Inc. Since 2004, he is based in New York, having worked at the firm's Buenos Aires office previously. He is responsible for coordinating the regional macroeconomic outlook, policy outlook, and credit market, rate market, and FX market outlook. His written contributions are published in J.P. Morgan flagship publications, including: Emerging Markets Outlook and Strategy, Global Data Watch, US Fixed Income Markets, and Geopolitical Insights. He regularly delivers presentations on the outlook for the global economy and international markets to J.P. Morgan institutional investor and multinational corporate clients. He also particpates regularly as a conference speaker in public policy forums—including The Council on Foreign Relations (CFR), the IMF Board of Directors, the US Treasury Department, the Inter-American Development Bank (IADB), the U.N. Department of Economic and Social Affairs—industry representatives forums—including the American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham), Emerging Markets Traders Association (EMTA), the American Council of Life Insurers, the Council of the Americas—and academic forums—including Columbia University, Duke University among others. Prior to working at J.P. Morgan he taught economics courses at the Univerdad Torcuato DiTella in Buenos Aires.
