BRAVO Symposium: Marcelo Claure of Claure Group and Bicycle Capital
The business leader explained why he's bullish on Latin America and its entreprenuers at the 2023 COA Symposium and 28th BRAVO Business Awards.

"Latin America is one of those few regions where the opportunities in many cases are greater than capital," said Marcelo Claure of Bicycle Capital at the 2023 COA Symposium and 28th BRAVO Business Awards. "We are going to have a few good years ahead due to the macro situation," explained the business leader.
Claure had a simple message for Latin America's entrepreneurs: "The cost of disruption is lower than ever." With that, he challenged businesses to set their goals toward solving some of the region's big problems, regardless of the current macroeconomic conditions. “Whatever you’re solving needs to be bigger than any political issue, any currency issue,” he said. Claure expressed that Latin America was an ideal space for fledgling businesses to find their footing. "It’s easy to replicate a model that was born in Brazil and be able to take it to other parts of the world," he said, as an example.
Patricia Menéndez-Cambó of PMC Capital Partners asked Claure about his priorities for the future. “My goal now is how we can create an exponential effect," he said. "How can I take everything that I’ve learned and be able to pass it to others so they can do what I’ve done in a much bigger arena?"
