Overview
Latin America has made significant progress in growing women’s participation in politics. Women now hold a third of seats in the region’s national legislatures and about half in Mexico, Bolivia, and Costa Rica. With the pandemic threatening to derail progress, we speak with former President of Chile Michelle Bachelet, Vice President of Costa Rica Epsy Campbell Barr, and former Governor of Buenos Aires Province María Eugenia Vidal about how to attract new leadership in years to come.
