Claudia Esteves Cano
Claudia Esteves Cano has had an outstanding professional career of more than 33 years committed to the development of Mexico. She has held positions in the banking and international promotion sector at Bancomext and ProMéxico, in the areas of credit, design of financial programs, and promotion of trade and foreign investment in Mexico. These positions include: Commercial Counselor of Mexico in Italy, deputy Commercial Counselor in Germany, Director in Veracruz, and Executive Director of Strategy in the Business Intelligence Unit.
Rodrigo Mariscal Paredes
Rodrigo Mariscal Paredes is chief economist and head of the Economic Planning Unit at the Ministry of Finance and Public Credit. Previously he was director general of macroeconomic analysis within the same Secretariat.
He served as a principal analyst at the Institute of International Finance and the International Monetary Fund in Washington, DC, where he also served as a consultant in the research department of the Inter-American Development Bank.
The late Brazilian artist's large-scale outdoor installation, co-presented by Americas Society, is on view in the Queens park from May 14 to August 14.
Luis Miguel González
Luis Miguel González is the editorial general director of El Economista. He holds an economics degree from the University of Guadalajara, a master's degree in journalism at El País, from the Autonomous University of Madrid in 1994, and he specialized in economic journalism at Columbia University in New York. He has been a reporter, business editor, and editorial director of the newspaper PÚBLICO of Guadalajara, and has worked in the newspapers Siglo 21 and Milenio.
Jordi Tasias
Jordi Tasias is a managing director in the private equity team at the CDPQ. He is the head of the Mexico office, from which he oversees the activities in Latin America (outside of Brazil), including CDPQ's private equity activities. He also supports the infrastructure team's business development activities. He joined CDPQ in April 2018 as a senior director of strategic partnerships in the growth markets team. He has almost 20 years of experience in investment banking in Europe and Latin America.
Oscar Del Cueto Cuevas
Oscar del Cueto Cuevas is the president, general manager, and executive representative of Kansas City Southern de México, S.A. de C.V., a subsidiary of Kansas City Southern (KCS). He has more than 30 years of experience in the railway industry. He participated as a liaison in the process of disincorporation of the national railways and contributed to the process of delivery reception of the first railroad concession in Mexico. He joined KCSM in 2006 where he held various positions.
Flavio Cardoso
Flavio Cardoso has been the senior vice president and CEO for Latin America at American Tower Corporation since the end of 2020. In the past, he served as the CEO of American Tower for seven years in Brazil, where he focused on the development, growth, and transformation of the organization, started new business models, and created a solid infrastructure for wireless connectivity in the national territory.
Horacio Duarte Olivares
Horacio Duarte Olivares holds a law degree from the National Autonomous University of Mexico, a master's degree in the study and prevention of gender violence from the University of Salamanca in Spain, and a master's degree in constitutional procedural law from the Universidad Panamericana. He has several studies in government, public policy, and government financial engineering. He currently serves as the undersecretary of employment and labor productivity for the federal government.
