U.S. Ambassador to Argentina Noah Mamet outlined changes by Mauricio Macri's new administration that forge a "remarkable change" in the country's domestic and foreign policy over the last four months. Mamet explained that Argentina's government has unified exhange rates, revamped the national data and statistics agencies, and is removing trade barriers, along with strengthening shale gas and long-term oil projects and public-private partnerships. He also talked about U.S.-Argentine cooperation in the area of small businesses to boost job creation and changes to visa processes for Argentines visiting the United States.
