Mexico: Opportunities for Investment and Economic Recovery

Join AS/COA and the Ministry of Finance as we host our twelfth annual Latin American Cities Mexico Conference. This year’s virtual conference will bring together leaders from the private and public sectors to discuss the government’s plan to boost economic activity and the role of foreign investment in the country’s recovery. 

In addition to panel conversations with representatives from the private sector, the conference will feature remarks from Arturo Herrera, secretary of Finance and Public Credit, and other senior-level government officials. 

Mexico, the United States’ top trading partner in 2019, is uniquely positioned to attract investors and further integration with its North American partners at a time when supply chains are globally challenged by the COVID-19 crisis. How can the country build back its economy so that it is stronger, more inclusive, and more resilient than before the pandemic?

AS/COA, en colaboración con la Secretaría de Hacienda y Crédito Público, realizará su decimo segunda conferencia anual sobre México como parte de su serie de conferencias Latin American Cities. En esta conferencia, que se realizará de forma virtual, se darán cita funcionarios públicos y líderes del sector privado para discutir el plan del gobierno para impulsar la actividad económica y el papel de la inversión privada en la reactivación del país.

Además de conversaciones con representantes del sector privado, la conferencia contará con la participación de Arturo Herrera, Secretario de Hacienda y Crédito Público, y otros altos funcionarios.

México, el principal socio comercial de Estados Unidos en 2019, se encuentra en una posición única para atraer inversiones y lograr una mayor integración con sus socios norteamericanos en un contexto en el que las cadenas de valor se ven desafiadas a nivel mundial por la crisis del COVID-19. ¿Cómo puede México reactivar su economía para volverse más inclusiva, sustentable y sólida que antes de la pandemia?
