Immigration Reform: The Opportunities for Minneapolis-Saint Paul and Beyond
Join the Americas Society/Council of the Americas for a luncheon on Monday, July 15 that will provide an update on current legislation as well as what its passage would mean for the Minneapolis-Saint Paul area.
Overview
The passage of comprehensive immigration reform would fundamentally reshape national policies toward immigrants while opening the door for metro areas such as Minneapolis-Saint Paul to further tap into the economic and civic contributions of their immigrant populations. What are the local implications of reform? How would congressional action impact the area’s business, civic, and policymaking communities? Join us for a luncheon on Monday, July 15 that will provide an update on current legislation as well as what its passage would mean for the Minneapolis-Saint Paul area.
