The passage of comprehensive immigration reform would fundamentally reshape national policies toward immigrants while opening the door for metro areas such as Minneapolis-Saint Paul to further tap into the economic and civic contributions of their immigrant populations. What are the local implications of reform? How would congressional action impact the area’s business, civic, and policymaking communities?
