Laurentino Cortizo Cohen is President of the Republic of Panama.

He was born in Panama on January 30, 1953. He studied secondary school at Colegio La Salle in Nicaragua.. He holds a degree in Business Administration from the University of Norwich in the United States. He has a PhD in International Trade and Marketing, from the University of Texas.

Es Licenciada en Relaciones Internacionales y Maestra en Cooperación Internacional para el Desarrollo. Actualmente, es Titular de la Unidad de Inteligencia Económica Global, dentro de la Subsecretaria de Comercio Exterior de la Secretaría de Economía. Anteriormente fue Administradora Central de Programas Operativos con Entidades Federativas, en la Administración General de Recaudación, del Servicio de Administración Tributaria. En esta misma institución también estuvo al frente de la Administración Central de Promoción y Vigilancia del Cumplimiento.

Valeria Moy es directora general del IMCO (Instituto Mexicano para la Competitividad), un centro de estudios que estudia los fenómenos económicos y sociales que afectan la competitividad de México. Fue directora de México, ¿cómo vamos? Trabajó en la Comisión Nacional Bancaria y de Valores en las áreas de Desarrollo y Estudios Económicos, Supervisión de Mercados y Supervisión Bursátil. En el sector académico, ha impartido cursos de macroeconomía desde 2001 a nivel de licenciatura y maestría en el ITAM. También trabajó como investigadora para Harvard Business School.
