Dario Wolos was born in Elmira, New York and raised in Monterrey, Mexico, his mother’s hometown. He grew up traveling across Mexico with his family, who often hosted international guests and introduced them to Mexican food and culture. Dario’s experience spending time between Mexico and abroad instilled a passion for Mexico’s people and laid the foundation for his ambition to share Mexico’s distinctive culture and traditions beyond its borders.

The U.S. Senate confirmed Linda S. Taglialatela, a career member of the Senior Executive Service, as Ambassador to Barbados and the Eastern Caribbean on December 9, 2015. Since 2002, Ms. Taglialatela served as Deputy Assistant Secretary of State in the Bureau of Human Resources overseeing the Department of State’s Civil Service human resources management program, including policy and program development, implementation, accountability, and legal and regulatory compliance.
